Swinburne International Update

Welcome to Melbourne!
The City of Melbourne will welcome new students in the international
arrivals hall at Tullarmarine Airport between Monday 16–Friday 20
February. New arrivals will receive a free information bag and student
volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions on arrival.

NEW! Professional Year in Accounting
Gone are the days when being an accountant simply meant crunching numbers
and filing tax returns in the confines of a solitary office. Graduates
today need to be prepared for a dynamic and changing workplace and that’s
what the new Professional Year in Accounting is all about.

Turning up the heat for CalPoly
Melbourne turned up the heat for California Polytechnic State University’s
John Battenburg who visited Swinburne last month to look at expanding
student exchange numbers between the two universities.

Stamp of approval for Swinburne designer
Dani Poon’s designs will soon appear in letterboxes across Australia after
being commissioned by Australia Post to design a series of stamps to
celebrate Chinese New Year.
